Beyond her professional endeavors, LaShakia finds joy in spending quality time with her family. She is an avid reader, devouring an impressive three books each month, and cherishes moments spent on the beach. Currently serving as the Superintendent of Flagler Schools, LaShakia Moore has achieved significant milestones in her career. She holds the distinction of being the first African American Superintendent of Flagler Schools, a testament to her dedication and leadership skills. Her previous roles include serving as Assistant Superintendent, Director of Teaching and Learning, and Principal.
LaShakia is an active member of the Florida Association of District School Superintendents, showcasing her commitment to professional development and collaboration within the education community.
