LaShakia Moore, born on January 22, 1981, in Ft. Pierce, FL, is a remarkable individual whose life is a testament to resilience, faith, and leadership. She is happily married to Tirrell and is the proud mother of three daughters - Alisia, Shanyia, and Kennedy, and grandmother to Kyrie, Dante Jean, and Kaydence. With a family of 10 siblings, LaShakia's life is enriched with love and companionship.

LaShakia's educational journey led her to Bethune Cookman University, where she graduated with a degree in Exceptional Student Education. Her pursuit of knowledge continued at Saint Leo University, where she earned a Masters in Educational Leadership. Education has been the cornerstone of her professional journey, shaping her into the accomplished leader she is today.

Beyond her professional endeavors, LaShakia finds joy in spending quality time with her family. She is an avid reader, devouring an impressive three books each month, and cherishes moments spent on the beach. Her love for literature extends to podcasts, making her a multifaceted individual with a curious mind.

Currently serving as the Superintendent of Flagler Schools, LaShakia Moore has achieved significant milestones in her career. She holds the distinction of being the first African American Superintendent of Flagler Schools, a testament to her dedication and leadership skills. Her previous roles include serving as Assistant Superintendent, Director of Teaching and Learning, and Principal.

LaShakia is an active member of the Florida Association of District School Superintendents, showcasing her commitment to professional development and collaboration within the education community. Her career goal is ambitious yet inspiring - to lead Flagler Schools to become the nation's premier learning organization.

Guided by her personal motto, "I do not want to be famous, I want to be impactful," LaShakia Moore emphasizes the importance of living with integrity. Her resilience is evident in overcoming life's challenges, including the loss of her parents at a young age. Trusting in God's plan, she sees adversity as a blessing and believes that all things work together for good.

In addition to her professional and personal commitments, LaShakia is actively involved in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She adds a fun and engaging touch to her family dynamics, taking on the role of the "camp counselor" during games and activities.
