Job Title: Youth Day Event Staff Member

Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team as Youth Event Staff Members for an upcoming event tailored for young participants. As a Youth Event Staff Member, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for youth attendees, ensuring a positive and memorable experience. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with youth, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in dynamic event environments.

Responsibilities:

Event Setup and Breakdown:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they are welcoming and functional.
- Arrange and organize event materials, signage, and interactive elements.
Attendee Interaction:
- Engage with youth attendees in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Provide assistance, guidance, and information to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
Activity Coordination:
- Oversee and facilitate interactive activities, workshops, and games designed for youth engagement.
- Encourage participation and create an inclusive and exciting atmosphere.
Safety and Security:
- Monitor the event area to ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees.

The Answers You Need

Volunteers are sought exclusively for our ISS location during the exhibition scheduled from February 3rd to the 29th. The exhibit will be open from 11 am to 7 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

What are the dates of the exhibition?

While we encourage volunteers to participate for more than one day, it's absolutely acceptable to volunteer for just one day. Each shift spans two hours, and you have the option to select multiple shifts if you wish.

Can I volunteer for one date?

Every volunteer will have the opportunity to explore the exhibit before their scheduled shift. Additionally, an event magazine containing extensive information about the exhibition will be provided to enhance and reinforce their knowledge.

Will there be information about the exhibition given to better assist with questions?

Overview: We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Exhibition Greeter for our upcoming photography exhibition. As a Greeter, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Your role is crucial in enhancing the overall visitor experience and ensuring that attendees feel valued and informed.

Responsibilities:

Welcome Visitors:
- Greet visitors as they enter the exhibition space with warmth and enthusiasm.
- Provide a friendly and approachable demeanor to make visitors feel comfortable and valued.
Provide Information:
- Offer information about the exhibition, featured photographers, and specific works on display.
- Be knowledgeable about the artists and their backgrounds to answer visitor questions.
Assist with Navigation:
- Guide visitors to different sections of the exhibition and provide directions as needed.
- Ensure that visitors are aware of any specific points of interest or special exhibits.
Ticketing and Registration:
- Assist with ticketing processes and registration as required.
